Composition : –   

Each 100 gm Contains :-

Erythromycin thiocyanate                                    20.0 gm

 (Equivalent to 18.53 gm Erythromycin base)

Properties :

Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic with a bacteriostatic action against most aerobic and anaerobic gram-positive bacteria.

.  In addition to some strains of Neisseria , Haemophilus and  Pasteurella.

-Macrolide are active against atypical mycobacteria, mycobacterium ,  Mycoplasma and  Rickettsia spp.

It inhibits protein synthesis by binding to 50 S ribosomal subunits of sensitive micro-organisms

Erythromycin is absorbed rapidly when administered orally and diffusion occurs into most tissues and fluids.

Target species

Broilers chickens.

Indication:

                   For the treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease caused by Mycoplasma infection.

Dosage and Administration :-

For oral administration via the drinking water.

Dose for whole product :

2.7 gm / 10 kg body weight (2.7 gm /1 litter drinking water) daily for continuously for 3-5 days

Contra-indications

 None

Special warnings for each target species

None.

Withdrawal Period :

6 days. Broiler chickens  :

Eggs: 6 days               

Storage:

-Store at temperature not exceeding 30˚C, in dry place.

– Used for 28 day after opening at temperature not exceeding 30˚C , in dry  place.

 – Used for 48 hour after reconstitution at temperature not exceeding 30˚C .

Packing:. Transparent  (LDPE) plastic bag closed by sealing inside tin pack containing  50, 100, 200 ,  500 gm and 1  Kg  powder  inside tin can  with  (HDPE)  plastic cover  & all data printed on it.
