Properties:
Amoxy 25%is a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic it acts by inhibition of synthesis of mucopeptide in bacterial cell membrane so it produces total lysis of the bacteria. Amoxy 25% is active against Gram positive and Gram negative micro-organism such as Pasteurella, Proteus, Haemophilus, Klebsiella,Salmonella ,E.coli, Streptococci and Staphylococci.
Indications:
Treatment of infections caused by susceptible microorganism, gastro- intestinal as enteritis and diarrhoea, respiratory as Bronchitis, (C.R.D) and inflammation of urogenital tract in Chickens, turkeys
Dosage and Administration:
Poultry:
1-2 gm Amoxy 25% per one litrer drinking water daily in divided doses to reach 3 to 4 times daily continue treatment for 3-5 days
Calves, Foals, and Lambs:
10-20 mg Amoxy 25% per one kg body weight daily in divided doses to reach 3 to 4 times daily continue treatment for 3-4 days.
Withdrawal Period:
10 days in case of meat producing animals
