Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
Ivermectin 10 mg
Properties:
Ivermectin is derived from the avermectins family of highly active broad spectrum antiparasitic agent which can be used for treatment and control of the following parasites:
Cattle, Buffaloes and sheep:
- Gastroinstestinal round worms (adult and immature) such as:
Haemonchus plcei, ostertagi ostertagi, trichostrongylus colubiformis, T.Axei, Cooperia onchophora.
Oesphagostomum radiatum and bunostomum phlebotomum, as well as (adult only) such as nematodirus helvetianus, N.sparthiger, strongyloides papollisus, Thelazia spp. Toxocara vitulorum and parafilaria bovicola.
- Lung worms: dictyocaulus viviparus (adult and immature)
- Cattle grubs: parasitic stage
- Hypoderma bovis, H.lineatum and topical cattle grubs dermatobi huminis
- Screw worm fly parasitic stage:Chrysomya bezziana
- Mites: Chorioptes bovis, psoroptes communis var, bovis, sarcoptes scabiei var bovis
- Lice: Linognathus vituli,Haematopinus eurysternus, solenopotes capillatus and damalinia bovis
- Ticks: ornithodoros savignyi and boophilus microplus
Dose:
Cattle and sheep
For whole product: 1 ml /50kg body weight by subcutaneous injection
Withdrawal time:
Cattle 35 days
Sheep 45 days
Warning and precautions:
-Not used in animals producing milk for human consumption
-wash hands after use.
Contraindications:
Not to be used by IM or IV injection.
Sideffects:
No side effects in recommended doses
But large dose in long administration may produce GIT distress as diarhea, dilated pupils and drunken gait.
Storage:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30C away from light andused within two weeks after opening
